Fred Snyder: I am an aspiring author living in Mankato, MN. I grew up in Excelsior, MN, went to college and graduate school. Eventually life took me to what is now my little home surrounded by flower gardens and animals that aren't as afraid of me as they should be. My work experience includes working with collegiate activities and events, AmeriCorps National Service, dealing blackjack and helping manage several successful thrift stores. I always liked to read and finally discovered that I couldn't find a particular book, so I had to write it. America has so much potential but has lost its way. I began to speculate on how that might play out and wrote 'American Revolution 2056.' I'm not a radical, just frustrated by not being able to find a book I wanted...and a few other things in my country. That inspired me to try writing other things...wish me luck!
